The Farnborough Airshow is a huge economic driver for large aerospace companies, and I had the pleasure to represent the Council at the airshow this year. All of the big players in the aircraft and engine manufacturing world gather here to present their product innovations, open up new fields of business and make sales. The airshow takes place every two years and along with the international aerospace exhibition in Berlin, the ILA, as well as the Paris Airshow in Le Bourget, the Farnborough is one of the most important airshows in the world.
